Is Chief Minister of the state K.Chanrashekar Rao worried about securing a bumper majority in Warangal by-elections. If his Saturday’s gesture thanking the people of the constituency immediately after the conclusion of the polling is anything to go by, his fears seem to be real. KCR thanked the people for coming out of their homes to cast their votes. He was more happy that people from rural areas and villages came out in large number and cast their votes. He made a special mention of the villagers in his statement.
Political analysts are saying that the statement of KCR was nothing but thanking the people of Warangal in advance. They add that the CM predicted a comfortable victory for the party in the by-poll and in response thanked the voters of the Warangal Lok Sabha seat. They further say that the CM did not talk about the victory of the party in the elections although he could have done so if he wanted for the simple reason he was scared of securing less majority in the elections. The results of the polling will be declared on November 24,2015. A total of 69 percent polling was recorded in by-elections.
