Television Culture posing threat to academics: Governor Narasimhan

kalamTelangana and Andhra Pradesh States Governor ESL Narasimhan on Thursday expressed his concern over the growing Television culture among the parents and their children. He said that the TV culture is having a terrible impact on the studies of the children. Narasimhan also said that the parents were also not able to spend quality time with their children and added that they were wasting time by watching the Television all the time.

The governor made these remarks while addressing a program on the occasion of former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam. The program was organized by Vandemataram foundation in Hyderabad. Narasimhan called upon the parents to give up the habit of watching the TVs and focus on the careers of their children. The program was attended by many prominent people of the society. The foundation has decided to organize a series of programs in all the schools from November 1,2015 to November 15, 2015 to tell children about APJ Abdul Kalam.
